Pay based on qualifications and skill level.Job description: A steel company is looking to hire an experienced steel slitter to join their team. Applicants MUST HAVE experience operating a steel slitter.Job requirements: This job requires at least 2 years of related experience. Job responsibilities will include operating machinery and using air tools to move and band large pieces of steel, using steel slitters and cranes. Must have prior experience in a manufacturing atmosphere and a stable work history. Ideal candidates will have excellent attendance, good work ethic, willing to stand for long periods, able to work overtime, and be willing to do work that is repetitive in nature. Must have the physical ability to lift 40 pounds independently and consistently. Must be willing to work Saturdays.Specific requirements: This job has some special requirements.
